“G2 Universe” Megatron is a straight redeco of the Kingdom Megatron mould so it isn’t as exciting as a new G2 Megatron mould. However, Kingdom Megs was a pretty nice impulse buy so having another version in nicer colours is cool. Of course, since Kingdom Megs uses the Earthrise figure of the character as a basis appearance wise, the core mould in G2 colours invokes the Generations Selects G2 Megatron as a result. If you’re willing to buy a G1 looking Megatron with G2 colours rather than wait for a more accurate alternative in the figure, then this is a good enough figure.
