   Not the strongest entry into the core class lineup, but a reasonable figure. The transformation feels fresh and unique for Hot Rod, which is certainly a plus. Just some of the transformation joints around the legs feel a little loose as they don’t tab in anywhere. It’s holding up fine now, but is probably destined to become a floppy mess in the future.

   The car bonnet looks a bit lacking without any Autobot logo, but with the two sides splitting in half, at this scale it’s probably best Hasbro didn’t try adding one in two halves.

   Overall it is a great figure for interacting with the Titan city-bots. Worth getting for that alone.

   A good car mode but a little clunkily in robot mode. Kingdom core hotrod is a fun toy but its easily the weakest in this line. best wait for a sale.
