   A great car mode with a G1 cartoon design. 86 movie jazz is great toy to get of fans old and new.

   Jazz and Grimlock were my favourite Autobots so SS86 has an incredibly strong start for me.
   Although he is beautiful, has a very G1 car mode, perfect head sculpt and really nails the look, there are a couple of small niggles for me that prevent me giving five stars (as much as I want to).
   Firstly, his backpack is mostly painted clear plastic. I can see this being a real issue down the line with it becoming brittle and breaking, with an involved transformation.
   Secondly, those hollow wrists!! Grrr! I keep having to turn to third part upgrade kits to fix issues with my TFs. Maybe it is just me, but I’d rather they had gone all out on these SS86 figures, maybe follow the Hot Rod example where they give you a deluxe size figure at a voyager price to cover the extra engineering and premium finish. I’d have willingly paid an extra fiver on all these deluxes if I were able to enjoy a better, mini Masterpiece, type figure.
   I’d also have liked the option to be able to display his door wings either out like the toy or tucked away like the show.
   Still, my couple of issues aside, he sure is one good looking ‘bot.
